Galapagos Islands

Small group of islands located off the coast of Ecuador in the eastern Pacific, the Galapagos Islands are best known for Charles Darwin's research.

Bowen, 1725

Chart of the Galapagos Islands.

Moll, 1739

Another chart of the Galapagos Islands, obviously based on the same sources.

Vancouver, 1798

A chart showing Cook's voyage through part of the Galapagos Islands. I believe the points on the bottom represent the western shores of what today are called Fernandina and Isabela Islands.
